STUFFED PEPPER ON-HOSTIES

Long time we did not talk about food, right? You can live without anything: without inspiration or without luck, but without food a person will not last long. Moreover, what inspiration and joy from life can he get without a hearty meal prepared with his own hands? From my own experience I know that there is nothing tastier than what you cook yourself. Remember the first sandwich you made for yourself? That's the same thing!

Today I talk about a very simple to prepare, my favorite dish, stuffed peppers. In my childhood, for some reason, I thought that the idea belonged to the French and was surprised to learn that this is a dish of Bulgarian cuisine. I cook in a bachelor, especially not bothering. I take the ready minced meat and rice, which is sold in separate cooking bags. But an experienced and picky housewife with a large family, of course, will make the stuffing herself and bring the peppers to perfection.
We will need:
4-5 medium sized peppers (buy with stock so that they can be interchanged)
1 pack of ground beef
1 bag of rice
Dill
Parsley
Sweet salad onions
Hard tomatoes (2 small ones for the whole stuffing)
Raisin (handful)
Zira
Ground pepper
Salt
A small jar of tomato paste (take disposable, as we, singles, they quickly deteriorate and disappear)

To begin with, deep earthenware with a lid will be needed so that the peppers can be placed in it, and they languished and were completely in the water. Choose even peppers of the same size. Before you cut them on top, put them in the dish, trying on whether they fit all together. Then carefully cut the caps and remove all the seeds so as not to tear. (Peppers can be cooked in a deep frying pan, but they stew badly, unevenly, and it will be extremely difficult to turn them over).
Put the rice to boil for 15-18 minutes so that it is slightly undercooked. If you take well-boiled rice, while the raw minced meat and peppers are steamed, it will turn into a loose porridge, so leave it a little hard.

Rinse the raisins in water and place them in a bowl. Add the finely chopped tomatoes, sweet lettuce, parsley and dill. When rice is almost ready, add it and mince.Add spices and mix the filling thoroughly. Fill it with peppers.
Add some vegetable oil to the bottom of the dish so that nothing burns. Put the peppers in a bowl and cover with water almost to the top. Cover with a lid on top. Small thin peppers, such as in the photo, are cooked for about 40 minutes. Large thick-skinned - about an hour. When the peppers are cooked, open a jar of tomato paste and stir in a glass of boiled water. Add to the peppers and some more then.
