Actually, headlight adjustment is not such an easy process. For low and high beam in the car there are several, usually four, adjusting screws for each headlight. And on different cars screws are completely different. There were such situations that even on a machine of the same model, the five screws were completely different among themselves. In this case, the adjustment of the fog lights (screws) is generally under the bumper, so you first need to solve the problem of how to get to them, and then master the adjustment skills.On some cars, you need to turn the screws with a screwdriver or pliers, and on others - with your hands. In order to know all the details of this process, you need to adjust more than a dozen cars.

Car headlight adjustment is not an impossible process. The very act of adjusting the headlights of the car was not so difficult, especially if it is done by the master, in whose hands more than one headlamps visited. We were helped by an employee of the service center. First of all, you need to open the hood, start the engine and turn on the low beam. After that, you should carefully check the position of the headlight range adjustment, which is located on the dashboard inside the cabin. In general, headlight adjustment is a precise and slow process, so you never need to hurry. It is necessary to do everything slowly, but confidently, so that later you do not have to redo it. So, the dipped headlights corrector should stand at the “zero” mark. By the way, if the trunk of the car is fairly loaded or passengers are sitting in the backseat, the total weight of which exceeds 200 kilograms, this equalizer should be lowered several positions down to level the headlights.First of all, you need to check the height of the light beam. To do this, we should bring the adjustment device neatly and put it along the car from the left headlight. Next, turn the mirror with the thread, which is fixed on the device, so that the thread is fully aligned with the flat surface on the car. Then you should carefully look into the apparatus, which marked certain dotted lines and points. It is necessary to compare the trajectory of the light beam with dotted lines. If it does not match, you need to rotate different screws (one is responsible for raising, and the other is for lowering the headlight) with a cross-head screwdriver until the line of the light beam merges with the dotted line. After this, the adjustment process must be repeated for the second headlamp. Next, we switch in the car to the high beam and start all over again. After that, respectively, on the fog. But with the "fog" to adjust the screws do not need under the hood and under the bumper. As you can see, headlight adjustment is not such a difficult task.
